“Village Basketball”, Ticket Scalpers, AI Opponents, and More: DaHui Authors China Sports Law Guide for Chambers 2024

At the invitation of Chambers and Partners, DaHui contributed a guide on sports law in China. It can be downloaded via the button below or viewed on Chambers’ website.

The guide is authored by DaHui Partner Cloud Li and Counsel Chris Beall and consists of two parts: Law & Practice, which covers regulatory issues such as anti-doping, betting, broadcasting rights, liability, and much more; and Trends & Developments, which dives into sports anti-corruption, the development of sports arbitration, the amateur basketball tournaments known as “cunBA” (the word cun, pronounced like “tswun”, means village), the growing popularity of outdoor sports such as camping, and other recent topics.

DaHui is honored to be a Chambers contributor to this guide for the third year in a row, as well as to various other Chambers Global Guides such as Tech M&A, TMT, and more.
